Assistant Professor of Anthropology Denise F. Su co-authored one of a suite of papers about Ardipithecus ramidus, the earliest known hominid skeleton, that were published today in Science. The study was featured in The New York Times, National Geographic News, the BBC News, and numerous other media outlets. Su’s work focused on reconstructing the early hominid’s habitat on the basis of contemporaneous large-mammal fossils unearthed in the area.
