The fall semester may be in full swing but students continue to share the many exciting research and internship opportunities they participated in over the summer.
The Department of Physics has posted blog entries from several seniors who took part in summer research programs and internships.
Elisa Yang, worked in the Magnetoelectronics and Spintronics group at the IBM Almaden research center in San Jose, Calif. Srividya Suresh, conducted research at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Estella Barboasa de Souza was an undergraduate research intern in the astronomy department at Weslelyan University. Bingqing Li stayed at Bryn Mawr and worked in Assistant Professor Xuemei May Cheng’s nanomaterials and spintronics lab. And Xilei Kuang spent the summer interning at a securities company in China.
